OK, Kids, here is the final cup for the Cowboy & Aliens collection.
The cup is a replica of the wrist blaster worn by Daniel Craig’s character during the film.
This is the place where I discuss all things Sacred and Profane. Stop by and check me out. Leave a comment (or not), as this is done for my own amusement. If you too are entertained, all the better, but that is not the motivation here. For I, am a...Writer with attitude! Comics, Sci Fi, movies, TV, Books, the Internet, Pop Culture, you name it. I talk about all of these things and more. These are the things that entertain me. I can only hope that some of them will entertain you as well.

James Bond is an Alien (or a Cowboy)...
...in either case he's appearing in the upcoming film, Cowboy’s and Aliens, and in the mean time is haning out at 7-Eleven, and drinking Slurpees.
That makes three-for-three with the Slurpee cups, now for Big Gulps!

Fast Food toys in your future
For a while now I've been monitoring the various fast food web sites looking for new comicbook-related items, and well, the Arby’s site has been saying for a while that comicbooks are coming, but they never seem to get here. I might have to drive by the nearest one to see if the website is up to date.
With the popularity of the Transformers 3 movie out there, Burger King is currently involved in a Tie-in with the film, as they have in the past.
Meanwhile, McDonald’s is in the midst of a Star Wars/The Clone Wars promotion.
As we’ve already indicated, Dunkin’ Donuts is promoting Captain America, Subway is all over Green Lantern (finally) and 7-Eleven is pushing Cowboys & Aliens. I wonder if one of the other fast food franchises will also jump in on the Cap bandwagon as the DD promotion seems to trend more to adults than kids (not that I think that Cap is going to be a kid film).

More Fast Food Superheroes
As discussed, both Captain America and Green Lantern are currently visiting fast food locations this month, (GL is @ Subway, & Cap is @ Dunkin’ Donuts). As we also already know, Green Lantern is also staring in a big budget movie. (Other superheroes in theaters so far this year who also appeared in fast food franchises include Green Hornet (Hardee’s & Carl’s Jr.) and Thor (7-Eleven), while Marvel’s X-Men made it to the big screen, for some reason there were apparently no toy tie-ins to this comic book flick (fast food or otherwise).
The sixth and final Green Lantern bag (and bracelet)
Apparently all cold drinks from Dunkin’ Donuts this month come in a Captain America Cup.
Dunkin’ Donuts even altered its logo to reflect Cap’s presence at the Franchise.
Oh, the Cap cup is courtesy of a co-worker (Thanks Lauren).

Yep, Like we’ve been telling you folk, Both the Mighty Thor (Marvel) & Batman (DC) have been hanging around fast food joints the past several weeks. First Thor landed @ 7-Eleven, before moving over to Burger King (and Dr. Pepper bottles & Cans).

This is seriously fast becoming the very best fast food toy set of all times!

McDonald's is for the Brave & the Bold
OK Kids, when it rains, it pours. It really pours, as you all know we are experiencing a high volume of Thor-related fast food movie tie-ins at the moment (with Thor toys appearing at both 7-11 & Burger King), well McDonald’s has taken this time to launch a truly impressive set of Batman Brave & Bold toys.
This outstanding set is eight packages, each containing three (yes, three separate) toys for a total of 24 toys. Seriously, this is a very cool set. Just look at what the first four packages contain!

Thlurpees go Thor
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, I’m still making that joke, but well that’s because it really is pretty funny. Here you go, Slurpee Thor Cups from 7-eleven:

I’m thill thor!
The other day I told you about how Thor cups were showing up at 7-eleven, well I just learned that they also have straws figures as well, (just like they did for the Iron Man 2 & Wolverine movies). Unfortunately, unlike either of those flicks, these 7-eleven figures won't stand up independent from the straws. Still, they are wicked cool, and well, Here they are.

I'm tho Thor!
OK Kids, it looks like we’re getting an early jump on Summer movies. At least as far as their fast food toys are concerned. I just stopped by my local 7-eleven and discovered that they already have Thor cups in stock. (Unfortunately no figure straws, just cups.)
7-eleven also has a 12" Destroyer figure that doubles as a cup.
In addition to the Thor 7-eleven cups, Marvel is also reported to be doing a tie-in with Burger King that is rumored to include the following six kid meal toys the will show up closer to the June release of the film.

- "Rainbow" Ring: Unlock the secrets of the Bifrost Bridge, the gateway of the Gods of Asgard
- Loki Figure: The God of Mischief casts a spell to "multiply" himself before your eyes
- The Destroyer: Asgard's most powerful weapon, which only Thor may be able to stop; Pose-able

Farmville Has it all!

OK, no, I really don't believe that, but, well Virtually everyone I know plays Farmville on Face book (or Yoville, or Mafia Wars), and recently 7-Eleven did a tie-in with these three games, producing cups representing them all.Well, I spotted them, and — since the wife is one of those Farmville addicts —plays it all the time, I decided to score her one of the cups.
So, here is that cup (front and back), and well, that should be that.
Me, I don’t play, but I do collect fast food tie-ins, and well, this certainly qualifies.

I eat Iron Man
OK, so here is another way-cool Iron Man 2 product from 7-eleven that I very nearly missed, as I didn't see it in my many recent trips to these locations, but I found online.

Now I guess I’m going to have to go back and see if I can find myself an IM2 cookie.
Oh yeah, I almost forgot, if you go to 7-eleven and buy Slurpee stuff (during the whole IM2/7-11 promotion), you get a code on your Slurpee cup that you can enter in over at Slurpee.com to win cool stuff.

Meanwhile, back at 7-eleven!
OK, I went back to 7-eleven and managed to score not only the four Iron Man Slurpee cups, but I also managed to score an IM bottle (like the War Machine bottle I grabbed last week). When we were there I discovered that the Slurpee cups have Iron Man & War Machine lids that the previous shop didn't seem to have, so I asked, and the very nice woman behind the counter allowed me to grab a set of four to cap off my four IM Slurpee cups.
How cool is that?

So I now seem to have all of the 7-eleven Iron Man stuff, now I just have to wait for Burger King to get their toys in, which I believe will be May 1.
