The cover of the forth Spider-Man President Obama comic has just been released, it is a combination of the second and third printing (Obama on the left but with a flag background) only this one has a white background. It also has a “4th issue variant” disclaimer on the cover.)From what we can tell, the hypersonic bidding on the other issues seems to be over, and these copies seem to be going at or close to cover price.
I have to say, that as the features editor of a comics price guide I honestly don’t think that the people who paid five and 10 times cover price will never recoup that value (the Spider-Man 9/11 comic shot through the roof, when it came out. Now you can pick it up for around $20.00 — I have two).
