Talk about yer Spider-Babes!

Can you say, Youzah?

I can!
OK, Now I’ve REALLY seen Everything!

As you all know, I’ve been buying the Spider-food that ties in with the third Spidey flick, but this is the one that sent me over the edge.

Yes, folks. That’ Pringle Spider-Chips, with Spidey trivia actually printed on the chips!

I need a drink.

Actually, I need a lot of ‘em!
Spidey Food is Good For Us!

As we approach closer to the opening of the film, we have more food that bears Spidey’s image. Today is no different.

Of course, there are some Spidey-related toys that are out there as well.

This was (just one of) the display(s) I saw Toys ‘R’ Us today. Cool, eh?

Free Comic Book Day Returns!

That’s right Boys and Girls, Saturday May 5th is, once again Free Comic Book Day! And we couldn’t be happier. Seriously. This year there are some 30–35 comicbooks that are being given away free to folks who show up. Is this a great country or what?

More as the story develops!

Oh, while I plan on spending part of the morning at A Timeless Journey in Stamford, CT, I will — in all probility — wind up at Sarge’s in New London, CT as well.

Where I’ll be hooking up with some of the other CAG creators.

The Spider-Bunny Arrived!

That’s folks, this past Sunday, the Spider-Bunny arrived at my house and delivered a load of presents to me for Easter. If you doubt me, just stak a look...

I’ll add some individual shots later, but for now, this is what I got.

What could be cooler than this, eh?

Captain America is Still Not Dead!

flag untiesYeah, yeah, I know that he got shot in issue #25, but I’m still not entirely convinced that he’s gone and here’s why. I ran into my good old buddy, and sometimes writing partner, John Wilcox, who — when I saw him the other day was wearing a Captain America T-shirt and simply said, “Cap won’t stay dead, Marvel has too much money tied up in underoos”

Now there’s logic that you can’t beat with a stick (even one made out of Adamantium).

More Spider-Clonage from Spider-Fan!

Just when you thought that the Ultimate Spider-clone saga couldn’t get any hinkyer, the Whack-jobs over at SpiderFan have posted a second installment of their spin on the Ultimate saga.

If you know anything about this storyline (either when it played out in the original Spider-man titles, or as it is being replayed in the Ultimate series), you’ll really want to check out this askew variant take on both of those storylines. It is a hoot-and-a-half.

The first SpiderFan installment of this particular story can be found here

For more Spider-Fun, you can check out this on-going web comic from the beginning, as it appears on SpiderFan.org.

Non “Funny” Funnybooks on the Rise

We’ve been reading comics since around 1961. It is — as we’ve often said — our preferred form of entertainment. In fact, the guy we’ve been ...
